Rides you can trust, with or without the app

A booking app designed for Dakar first and the App Store second. A price quoted up front instead of a meter, every ride timestamped and traceable with SMS proof, and intercity ridesharing across Senegal.

The rider books, follows the driver and pays. The driver goes online, receives rides and tracks the day's earnings. Two distinct apps describing the same journey from both sides of the windscreen, with a mandatory face check before every shift.

Two genuine difficulties. First, integrating local mobile payments — Wave and Orange Money — whose flows share nothing with a European gateway. Second, map tracking: rendering a vehicle in relief that actually follows the route, turn by turn, rather than a dot sliding across the screen.

Two distinct Expo apps — rider and driver — on a shared React Native core. The back end is managed PostgreSQL on Supabase: 24 tables, 38 SQL functions, 20 migrations. PostGIS handles positions, pgcrypto handles draws and hashing, pg_cron runs the monthly wallet payouts. Realtime is wired to five tables — ride offers, payments, messages, calls and trip tracking — and row-level security denies access by default.

Work in progress. Over 500 drivers are already registered on the platform ahead of launch, and the iOS and Android rollout is being prepared.
